I chose the Taj Mahal as my favorite piece of architecture because it is truly an amazing piece of art. Built by Shah Jahan as a tomb for his wife, the architecture took 22 years to create. This really shows how art is not a timed process, it could take years. Not knowing how great the structure would become, Jahan only built the Taj Mahal as a promise. This promise is now one of the seven wonders of the world and is truly well deserved for its uniqueness. It is really architecture in art form.
