My first year of college had some very, and yet bad experiences. The first year of college has opened my eyes to a whole new world of adulthood, responsibility, and time management all located within an educational environment. My first year has really helped me as a person to mature and discover myself as a student, but more importantly as a woman striving to make it in this very harsh world. College is a learning time period, once I make it through successfully with a college degree, I will appreciate it for all the beneficial aspects associated with it.
A diorama that is very creative
In my opinion the diorama portraying the horrible conditions America's beaches are in due to pollution was very creative. I thought the person who did this diorama put a lot of time and effort into their work of art.
I oppose the opinion of this diorama
The diorama concerning the issue of a playoff in college football did not sit well with me. I strongly oppose the idea of college playoff, plus at least in this near future, that is not feasible anyway. College football is so popular all across America as is "so if it ain't broke don't fix it".

The diorama discussing big business corporations and the greed struck me two different ways. They argued the point that businesses do not cater to customers which is sometimes true. But of businesses did not care about there consumer then why would we continue to buy the product?

How did it feel for me as a diorama artist--
It's hard to find a friend so patient, kind, and true.
The media and its many off-shoots are considered a culture to me for a number of reasons. The media world as a whole fits the definition of a culture through its behaviors, beliefs, institutions and works. The people who are involved and employed by media institutions all have this certain atmosphere around them that influences there views and outlook on life similar to that of a legitimate culture.
Humans act and behave in very unique manners. The behavior of humans has always been unpredictable since the beginning of man. This painting, Motomichi, shows how at times the behavior of humans can be so cruel and ugly. This ugly and disfiguring painting shows how be as humans act so ugly toward our fellow man. We can lie, steal, and kill without any shame or guilt. We as humans sometimes can grow cold-hearted and behave in ways that are so contrary to the goodness and love we so often teach about.
Since the existence of human beings, there has always been a struggle between many and various opposing forces and conditions. This picture to the right is a perfect example of the everlasting human struggle. This woman on the streets with her kids show how just the most basic concepts of just surviving is a component of the human struggle. Human always find a way to beat the struggle, improve, and progress though this picture to the right seems like a pessimistic outlook on life humans will persevere.
From age 12 when she signed a deal with Jive Records, to her untimely death Aaliyah was a one of a kind artist with a unique voice and grace unlike any other artist at the time. During her short life she worked with the likes of Missy Elliott,Timbaland, and R. Kelly. She also released three very sucessful albums that obtained high praise and record sales across the world. Unfortunately, in 2001 she and eight others were killed in a plane crash. At the time of her death she was reaching unprecedented sucess at such a young age and had already been dubbed the "Queen of Urban Pop".
My opinion is very strong when it comes to smoking...Don't Do It! Smoking is the most dangerous legal thing I think that is out there. It is truly one awful habit to continue. If anyone ever ask me to ever have a smoke, I do not think my reaction would be pleasant. And the thing that bothers me the most about is that not only when you smoke are you harming yourself (which is your business), you are harming others more severely. Second hand smoke is more dangerous than first hand. My opinion is if you are going to smoke, smoke in a private area and not where others can be harmed. The act of smoking just makes me cringe. I simply just do not like smoking. O and let us not forget what it does to the lungs. It damages them and causes black tar build up and eventually lung cancer. What good comes out of anything involving smoking?
Wow what do I say. The BMW is a priceless driving machine. It is a beautiful, sleek, and breath taking brand of automobile. No matter what year or what style, the company seems to produce a extraordinary car every year. It has truly earned its title as the ultimate driving machine. Every since my mom was a child, she has wanted a BMW, and she has now passed on the legacy. She has got one and now, for me, getting a BMW is a must have. I love the car from the inside and out. It has proven to show performance through its style and also under the hood. It is art form in the shape of a car. BMW...The Ultimate Driving Machine. Enough said.
Public art, like any art, is beautiful. It is so amazing to ride through a thriving city filled with awesome works of artist by famous and local artist. Public art should be appreciated much more than it currently is. Public art brightens up dead cities. Public art inspires people to be creative, and appreciate the hard work and talent required to make these works. From this colorful fountain to the right to ingenious sculptures made by local folk artist public has a rightful place in the art community.
Left Brain: When it comes to my work, I am definitely a left brain type of person. I want my work organized and neat. I want it to look good and be in place. I like what I do to be considered of good form. My left brain it also so used when it comes to the way I dress. I am a fanatic when it comes to my dress appearance. I love to wear nice things and for them to all match from head to toe. I cannot stand tackiness. Even on days when i decide to be comfortable, I still have to be matching.
He's not art but I love him to death. Emmanuel is my boyfriend and we have been together for four years and eight months. He is a sweet, gentle, and kind person that I love to be around. We hang out everyday and I love every minute of it. He is the best. We have so much in common and so much that we enjoy doing together. We can always talk about any and everything and I do mean everything. Our conversations range from entertainment to just plain silly and everything in between. Our parents enjoy each other and we enjoy being at one another's house. Yes of course we have had our share of ups and downs but we made it through each and every one of them. Emmanuel is my teddy bear.

Going to school and learning is important for everyone. It is the basis of our knowledge. the big question at hand is what do we need to learn while in school. Of course, we need to learn math, science, English, and history, but about the electives? Are they important? Art is an essential part of learning. It makes a child expand his or her mind. In most classes, a child is used to knowing and doing that one thing for that particular subject. In art, learning knowledge is different. Art is a study where a person does not always do things the same. Children learn to use the left and right side of their brain. Is art education important in schools? Yes it is. It is a major advancement in what learning really is.
I definitely think graffiti is art because it expresses what that artist has on his mind. They expound on their idea through graffiti. Usually being words, the artists expresses what they have to say. The piece is usually colorful and says what the artists really means in one or two words. Graffiti is definitely art in a different form.
There are so many materials to use when creating fashion. There is silk, cotton, polyester, rayon, and many more, but who would ever think "tissue paper?" I do not know where the idea derived from, but when it was created, many people used it. Although the dress can only be used once or only for scenery, the dresses look so real and are just as pretty as silk or polyester dresses if not better. And a pro for the dresses are the material is easy to maneuver and put into place. I am sure they probably are cheaper too. I think these dresses are 'fashion as art" because art is always using the right brain and creative ideas which these dresses express. Not only are they intuitive but also they are beautiful.
No words can really describe the video work of art, "Crazy," created by Gnarls Barkley. This video shows how he felt when composing this song. The name speaks so much for itself. He really outdone himself by going all out to describe the emotion of his mind in art form. When watching and listening to the video, I really get a sense of craziness and the illusions going through his mind. This video is beyond music and talent, it is art in motion.
I chose fashion as the topic of my diorama. Fashion, I think, will always be an issue because throughout the years it will never remain the same. Fashion always changes forcing people to change what they wear. Fashion brings out the qualities within people whether good or bad and it speaks the personality inside one’s mind. One thing about fashion is that whatever problems we are going through, fashion enables the mind to express itself. No matter the time period fashion will always be prevalent. It is the basis of uniqueness.
